Joe and Marla Truitt
Founders of Joy House
Joe & Marla built their son, Seth, the Joy House in 2020. Joy House Store opened shortly after. Joe & Marla steward a community of special artists and provide a space to develop their independence.
Todd and Jill Hess
President & Vice President
Todd & Jill partnered with Joy House in 2023 and opened various locations in North Carolina. They live on a farm outside of Charlotte.
Courtney Conlon
East Coast Manager
Courtney is one of Todd & Jill's daughters. She manages operations at all East Coast locations. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, Ryan, and 1-year-old daughter, Delaney.
Seth Truitt
The Big Boss
Seth is the inspiration behind Joy House. He can be found working the register, signing autographs, modeling products, and fueling ideas for growth in the Joy House business.
Meagan Tarka
Creative & Admin Operations
Meagan uses her skills in graphic design, web design, marketing, and media to make all of Marla's dreams come to life!
Cynthia Lewandowski
Crafting Crew Coordinator
Cynthia is one of the most crafty friends we know! She is the caretaker of one of our Besties, David, who has down syndrome. We love Cynthia & David and are so thankful for their help with our Besties!
